Official portrait of
George Bush by Herbert E. Abrams which hangs in the Entrance
Hall of the White House. This painting was revealed on July,
1995.
The former U.S. President stands in the Treaty Room. On the
background is hanged the oil painting The Peacemakers. President Lincoln discusses
prospects for peace with his military advisers Generals
Sherman and Grant and Admiral Porter on board the
River
Queen. There is
also a planisphere which probably symbolizes the
international successes during George Bush's
presidency.
